Gabrielle Burr is a compassionate professional with nine years of invaluable experience in the substance abuse field. She holds a degree in Behavioral Health and Addiction Studies from Pierce College and is currently working towards her Bachelor’s degree in Counseling with an emphasis in chemical dependency. Additionally, she is a certified CATC-II. Gabrielle’s journey in the field began as a substance abuse counselor at the Midnight Mission in Los Angeles’s Skid Row, where she provided crucial support to the all men’s program during her internship.
After obtaining her alcohol and drug certification from CAADE, she continued to make a positive impact working at both non-profit and for-profit treatment centers in Los Angeles. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Gabrielle is an avid advocate for holistic well-being. She enjoys hiking, camping, journaling, and mindfulness activities that allow her to recharge and find balance in her life. Furthermore, she cherishes spending quality time with her two children, embracing the joy and fulfillment they bring to her life.
Throughout her career, Gabrielle has honed her skills and developed a client-centered approach that prioritizes the individual needs and well-being of those she serves. As the Program Director at Rising Lotus Recovery, Gabrielle has been able to apply her extensive experience and deep understanding of the complexities of addiction to create a program with a compassionate approach to supporting individuals on their path to recovery.
